OPEC+ to increase oil production by 432,000 b/d

April 28, Fineko/abc.az. OPEC+ will increase oil production by another 432,000 b/d in June, as it was planned.

In May 2020, OPEC+ reduced oil production (without condensate) by 9.7 million b/d due to a drop in oil demand caused by the widespread fight against Covid. Then the terms of the agreement were repeatedly adjusted. So, since last August, the alliance has increased production by 400,000 b/d on a monthly basis. As of March, OPEC+ restrictions amounted to 2.56 million b/d, as of April - 2.16 million. And according to the latest decisions, from May the alliance will increase production by 432,000 b/d.
