April 25, Fineko/abc.az. The EU will introduce the 11th package of anti-Russian sanctions no earlier than the 2nd half of May.

ABC.AZ reports that Polish FM Zbigniew Rau after a meeting of the EU Council at the level of foreign ministers.

"Of course, while all this is under discussion. Some states voice what, in their opinion, should be in it, for example, sanctions on diamonds. Others, on the contrary, say that diamonds are more likely not to be directly affected. Therefore, I think that the issue will be closed no earlier than in the 2nd half of May. It is impossible to expect anything sooner," the minister said.

Zbigniew Rau added that he would expect the introduction of personal sanctions against representatives of the Russian justice system and "those responsible for the abduction of Ukrainian children".
