Oil gets more expensive, and Brent is at $77.69 a barrel

May 24, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades keep on rising in Wednesday’s trading after rising the day before.

The price of July Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures Exchange increased by $0.85 (1.11%) to $77.69 per barrel by 09:10 am. Following the trading on May 23, Brent crude futures for July grew by $0.85 (1.12%) to $76.84 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for July on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:10 am increased by $0.92 (1.26%) to $72.28 per barrel. Following the trading on May 23, the price of July WTI oil futures rose by $0.86 (1.19%) to $72.91 per barrel.
