Creation of free economic zone is planned in Nakhchivan

June 5, Fineko/abc.az. The creation of free economic zone is envisaged in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the State Program of NAR Socio-Economic Growth 2023-27, approved by President Ilham Aliyev.

Within the Program, the main executive body on this issue is the Ministry of Economy, and the other executive body is the State Customs Committee.

Initially, it is planned to develop a project on free economic zone, and then on development of the NAR economy with an increase in trade and logistics opportunities.
