September 14, Fineko/abc.az. The workgroup under the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection of the Population has held a regular meeting on the preparation of proposals to improve the system of social and medical rehabilitation and the appointment of disability. 
At the meeting Labor Minister Sahil Babayev pointed out that within the framework of the work done, special attention is paid to strengthening the capacity of rehabilitation centers for people with disabilities.
"Currently, work is underway on expansion of the network of rehab centers for people with disabilities in our country," Babayev said. 
He noted that work carried out by the workgroup on making the proposals on bringing the criteria for assessing disability in line with progressive international practice should be fastened.
