October 1, Fineko/abc. Turkey imported up to 900 million cu m of natural gas from Azerbaijan in July, reports the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA). 

In July the volume of Turkish gas from Azerbaijan increased by 250 million cu m compared with June. This July Azerbaijan ranks the 2nd place after Russia (1.1 bn cu m) among the countries exporting gas to Turkey.

In January Turkey received 808.3 million cu m, in February 683.2 million cu m, in March 772.4 million cu m, in April 724.8 million cu m, in May 770 million cu m, in June 650.6 million cu m, and in July 899.9 million cu m of Azerbaijani gas. The volume of natural gas imports from Azerbaijan by the fraternal country for the first 7 months of 2019 reached 5.3 bn cu m.
Last year, Azerbaijan exported 7.527 bn cu m of natural gas to Turkey.
