December 24, Fineko/abc.az. Educational activities started in Azerbaijan in November and December of this year have been completed in 20 districts to be covered by the initial phase of the compulsory health insurance starting from 2020 and three administrative regions.

ABC.AZ was reported from the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance that events have been organized in the cities of Mingachevir and Sheki, Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz, Shabran, Siyazan, Khizi, Shemakha, Ismailly, Agsu, Gobustan, Balaken, Zagatala, Gakh, Oguz, Gabala, Goychay, Ujar, Zardab, Kurdamir, Yevlakh and Agdash districts.

The purpose of the events conducted jointly with executive authorities of the districts and the State Agency was to inform the population about the gradual introduction of CHI in the country and the benefits of the system. At the ceremony representatives of the central district hospitals noted that the medical institutions led by them are preparing for the transition to CHI.
