December 26, Fineko/abc.az. The financial sanctions will be applied to violators of the Law on Health Insurance.

ABC.AZ reports that at the same time, those who do not pay insurance premiums on time will pay additional interests.

This is known from the Presidential Decree on the regulation of a number of questions related to the application of the law on the amendments to the Tax Code of Azerbaijan from 29 November 2019 and on the application of this law.

The Decree sais that in accord with Article 15-9.2 of the Law on Health Insurance for the violation of the requirements of this law, 50% of the financial sanctions applied by tax authorities will be distributed in a number of forms.

Thus, 5% of them will be transferred to the account of the Presidential Administration in order to strengthen the social protection of civil servants working in the Presidential Administration, the Department of Presidential Affairs and the special medical service. With the purpose to strengthen material & technical base and social protection of workers of the Ministry of Economy 22.5% out of 50% will be transferred to the account of the Ministry, and 22.5% to strengthen the material & technical security and social protection of employees of the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance to the account of this Agency.
