14:32 - 22.04.2020

April 22, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov suggested other oil producers to undertake obligations.

ABC.AZ reports that the minister informed about that at an informal video conference with the participation of several OPEC+ countries.

During the discussions Shakhbazov invited other oil producers that are not represented in the OPEC+ format to undertake commitments.

"OPEC+ is fulfilling a historic mission and has undertaken certain commitments. Countries that are not participating in the OPEC+ deal should also be active in this process and declare their obligations," Shakhbazov said.

The conference discussed the matters relating to the current state of the oil market and the fulfillment of obligations from May.
