COVID-19 vaccines to be delivered to Azerbaijan

September 21, Fineko/abc.az. The State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance and GAVI (Global Alliance for Vaccines) signed an agreement on 18 September.

ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in the message of the Department of Medical Territorial Divisions (TƏBIB).

Under the agreement, after the production of a vaccine approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) and meeting the requirements, Azerbaijan, along with other member countries of the organization, will soon be provided with an approved vaccine. Currently, of the 30 vaccines in clinical trials, only 6 are being tested in the 3rd clinical phase.

The GAVI central office is located in Geneva, Switzerland.
