October 7, Fineko/abc.az. The obligations of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) can hardly be applied to Nagorno-Karabakh, unlike Armenia.

ABC.AZ was made the relevant statement by Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, noting cases in which Russia may send military personnel to the conflict region in Nagorno-Karabakh.

He explained that if a CSTO member country is subjected to any aggression or attack from outside, then the Treaty member states are obliged to protect this country.

"But this does not be applied towards to Nagorno-Karabakh," Peskov emphasized.
