Ilham Aliyev: Azerbaijan did not retreat once for 44 days of war

December 10, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan achieved what it wanted for the 44 days of the Second Karabakh War, ABC.AZ reports citing President Ilham Aliyev as saying this in his speech at today’s Victory Parade.

He added that Azerbaijan has restored justice

"We retreated not once for the 44 days of the war. The relief of the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh was favorable for Armenia. The Azerbaijani soldier and the Azerbaijani officer fought for one goal - to put an end to this occupation and injustice, so that historical justice would prevail. And we have achieved this," President Aliyev said.
