Collection of compulsory health insurance contributions begins

December 25, Fineko/abc.az. Since 1 January 2021 in accordance with the Law on Medical Insurance the collection of mandatory medical insurance contributions from employees of the state and oil sectors, non-state and non-oil sectors, individuals performing works (services) on the basis of civil contracts, and individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities will begin.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance that employers and employees working in the state and oil sectors will be charged 2% of the monthly salary fund up to 8,000 manats and 0.5% of the amount over 8,000 manats.
