Over AZN 34 bn directed for oil & gas sector of Azerbaijan for past 5 years

January 26, Fineko/abc.az. The oil & gas sector of Azerbaijan has been financed AZN 34.4 bn for the last 5 years.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the financing to the country's oil & gas sector reduced by 31.8% from 2016 to 2020.

At that, compared with the indicator of 2019, there was an increase of 7.1% for 2020.

According to calculations, the highest figure on the financing for the domestic oil & gas sector during the reporting period was recorded in 2016 (AZN 8.617 bn) and the lowest figure in 2019 (AZN 5.489 bn).
