March 31, Fineko/abc.az. During the control measures taken by the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA), the agency's inspectors examined 300 kg of frozen ground chicken imported in our country from Russia by Veyseloglu.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to AQTA that during the inspection samples of imported products were selected and transferred to the appropriate laboratory of the Azerbaijan Institute of Food Safety. As a result of the research, a pathogenic microorganism – salmonella - was found in the samples taken from the batch of products.

It should be noted that earlier the onion imported by Araz Supermarket LLC from Ukraine was also unsuitable for consumption. The Food Safety Agency also revealed serious shortcomings in the OBA supermarket network.
