Azerbaijan launches Sputnik V vaccination - Date announced

May 17, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Health, the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance and the Association for the Management of Territorial Medical Units of Azerbaijan (Tebib) have distributed joint information.

ABC.AZ reports that in accordance with the Covid-19 vaccination strategy for 2021-22, from 18 May citizens will be able to be vaccinated with the Russian-made drug Sputnik V.

"Vaccination with Sputnik V will begin at the Baku Medical Center, located at 112 Azadlig Avenue," the statement reads.
