Chevron Corporation suffered loss of $5.5 bn

July 6, Fineko/abc.az. U.S.’ third largest oil & gas company Chevron Corporation has published financial statements for 2020.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to company's financial statements and in 2020 the company suffered financial losses for $5.5 bn.

Chevron's net loss for 2020 exceeds up to twice the 2019 profit of $2.9 bn. In addition, company's revenue in 2019 was 5.1 times less than in 2018.

According to experts analyzing the oil & gas sector, this is company’s first serious financial loss after the crisis of 2016.
