January 10, Fineko/abc.az. One of the largest US banks, Citigroup, has issued an interesting and unexpected statement.

ABC.AZ reports that the bank threatened to fire unvaccinated employees.

So, those who do not get vaccinated against COVID-19 by 14 January will be sent on unpaid leave and dismissed at the end of the month.

In fact, the bank first announced this requirement in October. It should be noted that employees who refuse to comply with this requirement until next week will be sent on unpaid leave, and on 13 January they will be dismissed.

Currently, more than 90% of Citigroup employees are vaccinated, and this figure is increasing as we approach 31 January.
