World’s most expensive car sold in Germany

May 20, Fineko/abc.az. A 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé sold for €135 million ($142 million) in a secret auction in Germany.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that the auction was held on 5 May at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. A rare car has become the most expensive ever sold in the world - a winning bid of more than €90 million crushed the previous public record of $48.4 million paid in 2018 for a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO at an RM Sotheby’s auction.
