June 6, Fineko/abc.az. Within the relevant commission established by the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance, 40% with hepatitis B and C were involved in treatment and provided with free medicines in April and May of this year.
ABC.AZ reports that the supplied medicines are prescribed on the basis of the decision of the Commission for prevention, diagnosis & treatment of viral hepatitis B and C and in accordance with modern clinical protocols.
For the treatment of hepatitis B virus, patients are prescribed Tenofovir, and against hepatitis C virus - Sofosbuvir and Daclatasvir.
The list of hospitals with which the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance has concluded an agreement on medical services included in the package of compulsory health insurance services that are not available in state medical institutions has been expanded.
