WB official: Azerbaijan should pay attention to new growth drivers

September 14, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani government and the World Bank marked the 30th anniversary of their partnership.

ABC.AZ reports that at the forum dedicated to the anniversary, the possibilities of further economic growth were discussed.

Speaking at the forum, WB Vice President for Europe & Central Asia Anna Bjerde said: "We look forward to continuing our partnership with Azerbaijan to further improve the lives of the Azerbaijani people.

In order to be competitive globally and regionally, Azerbaijan must now focus on new growth drivers offered by innovation, human capital, communication links and green development."
