Armenia intends to acquire Iranian UAVs

October 20, Fineko/abc.az. Armenia is among the countries that want to buy Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

ABC.AZ reports, citing the former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps of Iran (IRGC) and assistant for military affairs to the Supreme Leader of Iran, Maj-Gen Yahya Rahim Safavi.

"Armenia, Tajikistan, Serbia, Algeria, Venezuela and other countries are among the candidates who intend to purchase unmanned aircraft of Iranian production," Safavi emphasized.

Earlier, Yahya Rahim Safavi said that 22 countries had officially applied for the purchase of Iranian-made military unmanned aircrafts.
