December 7, Fineko/abc.az. The State Service for Antimonopoly Supervision & Consumer Market Control conducted a study of Aztelekom LLC and Baku Telephone Communications LLC in order to establish compliance with the observed growth in tariffs for services with the requirements of antimonopoly legislation.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Service that there were also appeals from private Internet providers associated with these enterprises. Thus, private Internet service providers say that the increase in tariffs negatively affects their activities.
As a result of the investigation, a case was initiated against Aztelekom and Baku Telephone Communications on the grounds of price manipulation in order to gain an additional advantage in the market.
