Trade turnover in Baku grew by 3% for Jan-Jun

August 2, Fineko/abc.az. The trade turnover in Baku increased by 3% for Jan-Jun 2019 (versus the 2018 same term) up to AZN 9.987 bn, the Baku City Statistics Department informs.

The cost of food, beverages and tobacco products sold in the trade network increased by 3.1% (against the 2018 same period) up to AZN 4.617 bn, while non-food products grew by 3% up to AZN 5.369 bn. 27.1% of consumer goods are sold at enterprises with the status of a legal entity, 47.4% at retail facilities owned by individual entrepreneurs, and 25.5% in the food markets of Baku.
