Tomato exports increased by about 50%

May 14, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has reported about tomato export for Jan-Mar 2020.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Customs Committee that the country exported 58,986 tons of tomatoes for $73.34 million for the first 3 months of 2020.

Compared with the same term of 2019, tomato exports grew by 47.7% in value terms and by 40.8% in quantitative terms.

Over Jan-Mar 2019 Azerbaijan’s tomato export reached 41.873 million tons for $49.644 million, while the export of tomatoes for the entire 2019 totaled 174,548 tons for $189.29 million.
