November 10, Fineko/abc.az. Tair Mirkishili, chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship, expressed his attitude towards the deployment of Russian and Turkish peacekeeping forces in the region.

ABC.AZ reports that the MP noted that one of the important points in the signed document on the settlement of the conflict is the deployment of peacekeeping forces.

He noted that Russian and Turkish peacekeepers, easily equipped with a small number of weapons, will monitor compliance with the agreement in the conflict zone: "The arrival of a small Russian peacekeeping contingent in the region should in no case be regarded as the creation of a new military base by Russia in Azerbaijan. The peacekeeping contingent will consist only of a limited number of peacekeepers together with the Turkish military. And the main winner is Azerbaijan! After that, no force in the region can resist the interests of Azerbaijan! We are the strongest country in the region!"
