Oil rises in cost, and Brent is at $66.04 a barrel

April 27, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are growing in Tuesday’s trading.

By 9:15 am, in the trading at the London ICE Futures Exchange the June’s Brent crude futures increased by $0.39 (0.59%) up to $66.04 per barrel. Following the trading on 26 April the price of Brent crude oil futures for June fell by $0.46 (0.70%) to $65.65 per barrel.

By 9:15 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of the June’s WTI oil futures grew by $0.38 (0.61%) up to $62.29 per barrel. At the end of trading on 26 April the WTI futures for June fell in price by $0.23 (0.37%) to $61.91 per barrel.

The meeting of the OPEC+ Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) has been postponed from 28 to 27 April.

The day before, a meeting of the technical committee was held, where the April report of OPEC analysts was considered as a forecast for the development of the situation, suggesting an increase in oil demand this year by 6 million b/d, as well as another option - an increase in demand by 4.6-5 million b/d.
