Azerbaijan increases production of pharmaceutical goods

May 20, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2021 the manufacture of the chemical industry observed growth in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that for the first 4 months products for AZN 479.3 million were made in the fields of chemical industry, pharmaceutical production, rubber and plastic products.

Compared with the same period of 2020, the output of pharmaceutical products grew 6-fold and rubber and plastic goods by 24%.

The production of paint and varnish products from basic chemical products increased by 96.7%, and the manufacture of fittings for plastic pipes, pipes and hoses made of rubber and plastic pulp by 9.1 times.
