December 8, Fineko/abc.az. The UAE is to introduce a new working week from 1 January 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that so, the number of days off in the country has increased. According to the government's decision, the working week in the UAE from the next year will last from Monday to Friday, the last working day is reduced to 12 hours, and the weekend is shifted to Saturday and Sunday.

In the new year, working days will start at 07.30 and end at 15.30. The working day on Fridays will end at 12:00. In addition, officials will be able to work on Fridays from home.

The UAE will become the first country in the world in which the number of working days will be less than five.
