December 24, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank has published statistical data on voluntary insurance.

ABC.AZ reports that for the past 11 months of 2021 the compensation payments on voluntary insurance amounted to AZN 319.739 million (2.54% less than a year earlier).

Over Jan-Nov 2021, the amount of compensation payments on compulsory insurance reached AZN 110.1 million (73.72% more versus Jan-Nov 2020).

Thus, up to 60.45 manats of compensations were paid for every 100 manats of premiums gathered from the voluntary insurance market.

For the past 11 months of 2020 this figure amounted to 71.1 manats. Over the past period of the year, the amount of compensation payments grew from 30.7 up to 46.1 manats for every 100 manats of premiums on the compulsory insurance market.
