June 17, Fineko/abc.az. In the 2021-22 academic year, about 7,400 foreign and stateless students from 101 countries educated in higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of our country.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan that the students were mainly from Turkey, Iran, Georgia, Russia, Iraq, Nigeria, Syria, India, Pakistan, China and other countries.

With the purpose of further measures to promote and expand the opportunities for foreign students to study in our country in the past academic year, centralized e-application service (SIA/CAS: Study in Azerbaijan Centralized E-Application Service) was put into use in system portal.edu.az.
