The rate of unemployed has increased in Azerbaijan

April 17, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee has published the official number of the unemployed in the country.

ABC.AZ reports that according to preliminary data, as of 1 April 2023 the number of economically active population reached 5.36 million people. Of them, the employed population totaled 5.059 million people.

As a result, 302,500 people are considered as unemployed. A month ago, as of 1 March, this figure was 302,300 people.
