May 20, Fineko/abc.az. The Sumgait office of the Personnel Training Center of the Education & Certification Department and the Regional Training Center of SOCAR announced a competition for the admission of students.

SOCAR informs that those wishing to take part in the competition, who are under 29 years of age before 15 September, must be citizens of Azerbaijan, registered in Sumgait or Absheron districts (internally displaced persons living in these districts can also apply). Young people who are currently continuing their education and have higher education cannot apply for participation in the contest.

Men wishing to participate in the competition must have a military ID, regardless of their actual military service, and must submit a health certificate.

A total of 33 students will be admitted to the training center in the specialties of electrician on repair and maintenance of electrical equipment, pump operator and repairman.

Applications are accepted in e-form. Information about the necessary documents and the rules is available at website www.socar.az in section "Submission of documents for the Training Centre" at section "Careers", where application can be submitted. The deadline for applications is 28 May.
