Coronavirus infection rate grows rapidly in Georgia – 227 infection cases per day

September 23, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia has again seen an increase in the number of people infected with the virus, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Georgian hospital of infectious diseases.

According to the hospital, 227 new infections have been registered in the country over the past 24 hours. 69 people out of the patients receiving treatment for this virus have recovered.

Thus, the total number of people diagnosed with coronavirus in the country has reached 4,140 people.

Of them, 1,643 people fully recovered. A total of 24 people have died from the virus. Currently, 836 people are in quarantine across the country, and 5,390 people are in hospital.
