December 22, Fineko/abc.az. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Lavrov stressed the need for strict compliance with the trilateral agreements, stressed importance of further work on implementation of the trilateral statements of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia of November 10, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021, as well as October 31, 2022.

"Regret was expressed over Yerevan's decision to refuse to participate in the meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia scheduled for December 23 in Moscow to discuss the preparation of a peace treaty," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
