May 2, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has received High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) Miguel Angel Moratinos.

The head of state expressed gratitude to Mr. Moratinos for participation in the 5th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku and for kind words about Azerbaijan there.

In his turn, Mr. Moratinos voiced gratitude for the organization of the forum, noting that Baku is known as a center of dialogue in the world and that the Baku process is an important platform and a timely initiative.

He noted that the expansion of the geography of this process and the popularization of Azerbaijani multicultural traditions are of great importance.
