September 27, Fineko/abc.az. The dynamics of housing prices in 150 cities of the world has been studied. Istanbul (Turkey) took the 1st place with an increase of 185%. Istanbul is followed by Ankara, Izmir and Miami (USA).
ABC.AZ reports that according to a study by Knight Frank, one of the world's leading real estate consulting companies, from June 2021 to June 2022, housing prices increased by 165% in Ankara and by 151% in Izmir.
Istanbul Chamber of Real Estate’s chairman Nizamettin Asha said earlier that they had determined high prices in such cities as Ankara, Izmir and Antalya, especially in megacities.
Noting that rising land prices and construction costs are important factors, Asha said that the demand for new buildings is very high, so there is an upward trend.
