October 1, Fineko/abc.az. An event on the theme “The role of agroparks in the development of agriculture" has been organized with the organizational support of the Ministries of Economy and of Agriculture.

ABC.AZ reports that at the event it was noted that work is currently underway on the creation of 51 agricultural parks with total cost of AZN 2.1 bn on the territory of 240,000 hectares in 32 districts of the country.

43 agroparks have already started their activities, design work is underway in others.

The Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Ministry of Economy gave subsidized loans in the amount of AZN 173 million for the creation of 23 agroparks, and the Ministry issued documents for stimulating investments in the amount of AZN 1 bn to 27 agroparks.
