Agriculture Minister: 4,800 bee families relocated to pastures of Kelbajar and Lachin

December 24, Fineko/abc.az. Scientific & practical conference "Karabakh: The new panorama of the South Caucasus opening to the world" has been held in Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that at the event Agriculture Minister Inam Kerimov delivered speech about the Smart Village Project in Zangilan.

He noted that energy will be collected through collectors located on the roofs of smart village houses and be used for heating of houses and water.

The minister also touched upon the work carried out in the agricultural sector in the liberated territories.

"4,800 bee families and about 10,000 heads of small cattle have been relocated to the pastures of Kelbajar and Lachin. Zones free of animal diseases are being created in the liberated territories together with the relevant organizations. The region also has great potential for the development of grain growing, cotton growing, tobacco growing, viticulture," Kerimov added.
