July 20, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2022, Azerbaijan produced building materials for AZN 520.5 million (33.4% more versus 1st half of 2021), according to the State Statistics Committee.

Our country increased production of cement by 1.7% up to 1.7 million tons, construction gypsum by 37.8% up to 18,600 tons, building blocks and bricks from cement by 47.8%  up to 54,700 tons, finished concrete mix by 25.3% up to 1.54 million tons, lime by 11.4% up to 19,500 tons, building bricks by 16.8% up to 322,500 cu m, reduced manufacture of processed marble, travertine, alabaster and products made of them by 32.9% to 13,604 tons, prefabricated concrete structures by 43.3% to 20,800 cu m, and increased production of asphalt by 9.4% up to 44,100 tons.
