September 14, Fineko/abc.az. Over the 1st half of 2021 the turnover of mutual tourism services reduced by 2.2 times to $252.1 million.

ABC.AZ reports that in the balance of payments of Azerbaijan for 6 months of 2021 it is noted that during the reporting period deficit of $124.9 million was formed in the export of tourism services for $63.6 million and imports for $188.5 million. During this period the number of Azerbaijani citizens traveling abroad decreased by 3.3 times and the number of foreign citizens coming to Azerbaijan by 2.1 times.

The volume of services rendered by foreign countries to residents of Azerbaijan in connection with tourism amounted to $188.5 million.
